The Government report for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day is as follows .-—Moderate to strong westerly w-idns; expect unset l ied and cloudy weather : rain probable ; glass unsteady. Mr. L. Azzipardi reports thats the rainfall in Napier during ias& month was as follows :—2nd.27, 3rd .28, 4th .29, sth .30, 6th ,15, 10th .40,11 th .39, 12th .08, J4th .32, 18th.04, 19th .07, 20th .06, 21st .18, 22nd .57, 25th .35, 26th .30, 27th .40, 27th .07. The total thus being 4.52 in.
