Mr. French, j Nationalist leader, is arranging a} campaign of which the chief plank: of its platform is opposition to Sir W. Laurier's navy policy. } Sir W. Laurier, in the House of; Commons, annouced that as soon! as the vote on reciprocity was' taken the House would proceed to discuss the Estimates as the Conservatives had pledged themselves to refuse supply uneil the elections were held and the reciprocity is-/ sue arrived at. The Premier’s statement is taken to mean the immediate dissolution of Parliament.
