NAPIER INANIMATE PIGEON GUN CLUB.
AN ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING
A meeting was held in the Masonic Hotel last evening for the purpose of forming an inanimate pigeon gun club in Napier. There was a fair attendance and Mr. T. Parker was in the chair. The Chairman said that on account of the number of shooting enthusiasts in Napier it was desirable that a gun club be formed, and an inanimate pigeon gun club could be run in the meantime. He had made enquiries about a suitable ground .and had found that one could be got close to the town at a reasonable rental. Considerable support had been promised if a chib was formed. 40 persons already promising to join. It was proposed on the motion of Mr. G. R. Foreman, seconded byMr. S. Tomlinson and carried : “That a gun club lie formed to be called the Napier Inanimate Pigeon Gnu Club.” It was decided to affiliate with the New Zealand Gun Club Associat ion.
