PRINCESS THEATRE (Hastings). ! Some fine films were screened last night, notably a Bison picture, : ■■ Girl of the Plains.’’ A comic called “A Midnight Disturbance” created roars of laughter. “ The Family of Vegetarians ” was another good comic, and so was “The, : Electric Battery.’’ " False Love and True” was a splendid drama. : The programme will be repeated to-night. On Saturday a film, 1000 ' feet long, showing the construction of the Panama Canal, will be : screened.
