A FURTHER LETTER

Palmerston North, July 21. In a further letter to the Press regarding the Mokau property, Mr. R. McNab states that the Company never approached Mr. Carroll to issue the Order-in-Council. as such document was not required by them. The Company purchased the land from a Hawke’s Bay syndicate which had purchased from Mr. Hermann Lewis, who was seeking a purchaser of the property before the Mokau Company was formed.
