PLANTERS PROTEST AGAINST 1 REMOVAL OF DUTIES. (Received 19, 3.5 a.m., ; Washington. July 18. ! Louisiana sugar planters and producers were examined by the’ Sugar Trust investigation commit-i tee. They asserted that reduction of duties meant ruin to domestic production of cam l sugar. Free sugar would annihilate the cane and beet industries.
