Tile deep bass erow of the heavy huff orpington and the shrill screechy challenge of the little bantam, mingled with the piping of the canary and the quacking of the duck, all go to make up a noise which is to be heard nowhere but in a poultry show and a Second Chamber.
The Hastings Standard Cup for black orpingtons (young birds only) has been won outright by Mr. A. E, Stone. Epsom. Auckland, he having obtained the most points in this class in ami 1910. Mr. A. I.vips; secured a “ leg in" for the Working Homes Cup, for most points m working homers. The Cup was won last year by Mr. IL M. Egan. Mr. W. A. Alexander's Cup for most points in fancy pigeons was secured for this year by Mr. J. Walker. Previous winners: F. Goodacre IWXJ. F. J. France 1907. E. J. Faliti IWy T. Bulliek 1909, A. Fraser 1910.
