SAVINGS BANK.
N.S.W. AMALGAMATION BILL. (Received 14, 9.30 a.m.) Melbourne, July 14. A ballot of depositors in the Savings Bank of New South Wales resulted in an overwhelming majority against amalgamation with the Government Savings Bank, but Mr. Carmichael declares rhe ballot is not a representative am., and he intends to proceed with the Amalgamation Bill.
