TRENTHAM TRACK NOTES.
Wellington. July IL A number of new arrivals were exercised at Trentham m dull weather this morning. Ormond s horses were given steady pacing, and all are looking well. Dreadless particularly so. Ribstone Pippin and Salopin went over big fences, the former showing a strong dislike for work. My Lawyer began a mile slowly, but i;,m|>l*'ted it in Imin 54’see. Bracken ran the last seven of eight furlongs m Imin 42 sec. Centaur and M hakaweira did easy pacing on the sand, where Dogger Bank, looking wiry, was allotted similar work, as were Iney. St. Bill. St. Care. North-east. Lovell, and others. Miss Explosion. Kremlin. Wanchope, and Don Quex arrived last night, but were not on the tracks this morning.
