HAWKE’S BAY KENNEL CLUB.
I * FOURTEENTH ANNUAL SHOW. The fourteenth annual show of the Hawke’s Bay Kennel Club was opened in the Garrison Hall, Napier, this morning. There is a fine selection of all classes of dogs, the majority of all the big fanciers of New Zealand being represented. Mr. A. R. Young, M.R.C.V.S., of Hawera, is judge of all breeds of terriers and bulldogs, and Mr. S. Johnson, Palmerston North, of all other breeds. Mr. C. L . Thomas, of Napier,, swept the board with his dogs, his smooth fox terrier bitch Otto of Scinde taking first in puppy, novice, maiden, colonial breed, limit and open classes. Lysol of Scinde won in every class of the wire fox terrier bitches class. Odol of Scinde, in wire dogs, won in the same number of classes ,and Odol of Soinde and Lysol of Scinde won in the wire fox terrier brace class. I Mr. J. G. Parker’s Mosgiel Seni sation won in every class of rough | collie bitches, winning every special i prize offered for that class.
