Alfred Ernest Hadden was before the court . this morning, charged with stealing from Queen street wharf a case of goods containing clothing, valued at £26/6/-, the property- of Messrs. Hallenstein Bros. At the request of the police, the accused was remanded until Friday bail was not asked for.
