Holeslip, qf Mornington, came into collision with an opposing player and sustained a compound fracture of the left leg below the knee. Auckland. July 9. A young man named Frederick Strong, aged 22. was admitted to the Auckland ■ Hospital yesterday suffering from serious internal injuries received while placing football.
