STRIKE LOSSES AT HULL. London, July 8. The strike losses at Hull are estimated at a quarter of a million.
RURAL WORKERS UNION.
(Received 10, 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, 'July 10. Mr. Wade, at Wagga, referring to the claims of the Rural Workers Union, said if they were granted, they would render profitable agricultural life impossible. To make an 'eight-hour’s normal agricultural working-day was an absolute farce.
