MURDERER SHOT IN GAOL. (Received 5, 8.5 a.m.) New York, July 4. Two prospectors, Kingsley anc Olds, at Globe Creek, Arizona, were arrested on a charge of mur dering the sisters Goswick, daugh- | ters of Olds’ mining partner. The girls were drowned in the : Salt river. Olds was incarcerated j in the county gaol, and during tht I night some unknown person enter- ; ed the courthouse a short distance • from the gaol and fired into Olds : ; cell, killing him instantly. I The murderer escaped. I The gun he used has been found.
