MR. CHURCHILL CRITICISED. London, June 27. In the House of Commons, on the discussion of the Home Office vote, the Hon. A. Lyttelton sharply criticised Mr. Churchill’s use of the prerogative and for not refraining from appeals to the gallery, particularly regarding the Dartmoor shepherd case. He also criticised his conduct of the Tonypandy riots and the Sidney street affray. The reduction of the vote was rejected by 173 votes to 143.
