HOME RULE FUND.
NEW ZEALAND’S CONTRIBUTION. [PER press association.] Wellington, June 26. Altogether the Irish envoys have collected about £6OOO in New Zealand for the Home Rule cause. Messrs. Donovan and Redmond have just completed their visit to the Nelson, Westland, and Blenheim districts, where £1313 was collected, against £594 collected in the same district five years ago. The amounts contributed in the towns visited were as follows:— Greymouth £460, Westport £250, Hokitika £125, Kumara £l2O, Reefton £llO, Blenheim £lOO, Nelson £BO, Ross £7O, and Otira £5O. Messrs. Donovan and Redmond will be at Meth ven on the 29th instant, and on the following day they will join Mr. Hazelton at Oamaru, and subsequently pay their first visit to Otago. ’ Christchurch, June 26. Messrs. Donovan and Redmond, Irish envoys, arrived overland from the West Coast to-night.
