Definition of a Hunter. —A horse that has been hunted at least five times this season with any recognised pack of hounds, and whose owner is a subscriber of at least three guineas to a Hunt. All hunters’ races are confined to gentlemen riders. Certificates must be produced at scales. Nominations (with performances of hunters) and acceptances togethey with the necessary fees, COLOURS OF THE RIDER, etc., must be in the hands of the Secretary, at his office, Hastings, not later than 8 p.m. on the dates named below:— W.
