BUFFALO BILL LITERATURE.
ITS EFFECT ON JUVENILE MINDS. THREE LADS GO A BUSHRANGING. Waihi, June 13. Three boys, whose ages range from- nine to eleven years, who have been missing from their respective homes in Waihi East, turned up this evening in a half-famish-ed condition, having spent last night in an old shed in the bush, the rain falling in torrents. It appears that the lads took upon themselves the part of bushrangers or i cowboys. They broke into a set--1 tier’s residence at Bulltown during the latter’s absence, annexed some guns and revolvers and half a tin of biscuits ,and then proceeded to the bush, where they indulged in reckless shooting, luckily without killing each other. Search parties out last ■ night could find no trace of the missing lads, but eventually cold and hunger drove them home. They stowed the guns away in the bush, and the police will now ' tak£ a hand in the adventures of i the would-be bushrangers.
