THE SAFEST ISSUE IN THE WORLD. (Received 15, 9.25 a.m.) Melbourne, June 15. Replying to criticism on a proposal to reduce the gold reserve, Mr. Fraser, the Acting-Treasurer, declared the Commonwealth held the safest note issue in the world.
