Macintosh is arranging a Jack Johnson exhibition tour to include Australia. Johnson: is willing to meet Langford, Mevea, and Jeaneatte.
Ellis, of Wellington, being unable to fulfil his engagement with Kerr at the Hawke’s Bay Association’s tourney next Tuesday evening, arrangements have been made with Trewick, of Palmerston, to fill the breach.
