COAL MINE RE-OPENED.
(Received 15, 9.25 a.m.) Sydney, June 15.
Hillingworth colliery, at Newcastle, which was closed after the big explosion on December 7th, has been re-opened. An ominous rumbling sound followed the breaking of the seals, also a rush of gas. Conditions afterwards became normal.
