ADVERTISING AUSTRALIA. (Received 7, 8.40 a.m.) London, June 6. Mr. Batchelor, in opening the Australian Pavilion at the Roubaix Exhibition, urged an extension of trade between Australia and France, particularly in meat. . Mr. Batchelor had an enthusiastic reception at Roubaix. He stated that France took one-third of Australian wool and they would find the meat as good as the wool. Mayor Motte said it was necessary for Australia to advertise in France. The Roubaix exhibition would give good results. He hoped Australia would not neglect the production of fine wttol.
