IRISH ENVOYS AT AUCKLAND
Auckland, June 2. The Irish envoys, Messrs. Hazleton, Redmond, and Donovan, addressed a crowded meeting in His Majesty’s Theatre to-night. The usual motion, proposed by Mr. W. •J. Napier, and seconded by the j Rev. R. J. Hall (Unitarian), was ■ carried unanimously. 1 The sum of £1072 has been already collected in Auckland. This ! is the largest amount so far in any {New Zealand town.
