SWIMMING.
The combined ladies’ anti men’s committee of the Hastings Swimming Club met in the Albert Hotel,, Hastings, yesterday afternoon, to receive the balance-sheet in connection with the dance recently held by the club. Mr. J. Bainfort* was in the chair. The balancesheet, showing a profit of £9/12/7 was adopted, and a hearty vote of; thanks was passed to the ladies for; organising the function. Before' dispersing the joint committee was entertained to afternoon tea by Mrs. C. O’Donoghue, and the pro-; ceedings terminated with a hearty’ vote of thanks to the hostess. ,
