Mr. Carnegie was a guest at the National Liberal Club, where Sir Edward Grey spoke, expressing his opinion that the arbitration idea was making real progress Nations were beginning to doubt it war was ever productive of ta,ge. He believed Mr. Taft’a initiative would assure a further step towards the consolidation of peace.
