"Services Unions to affiliate with the Trades Hall Union. Mr. Watt de- L dined, stating the only object to( the affiliation could be to exercise; outside pressure. If these were affiliated the Trades Council might be in a position to make im- ; perative demands. WHY 1 (Received 2, 10.40 a.m.) Sydney. June 2. Mr. Beeby declined the request, to allow women to sit on the Women’s Work Wages Commission.
