The annual meeting unanimously adopted a resolution advocating the building of a third armoured cruiser annually until 1917. The president, Grand Admiral von Koester, stated that Great Britain had 40 armoured cruisers, of which 29 had a speed of 23 knots or upw’ard. The slowest, wdth a speed of 21 knots, would take the fifth place in the German Navy.
