DETAILS OF THE HURRICANE. [PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT]. (Received 25, 12.0 a.m.) Sydney, May 25. Particulars of the recent hurricane at New Hebrides state that ten vessels went ashore and two whites and six natives were drowned. The reports show the effects to have been more devastating than were at first repoited.

The storm was general throughout the group. Houses were unroofed and blown down at Aneiytum and Tenna. It is supposed several recruiting vessels besides the ten reported were blown ashore. The steamer Malatia has a trying experience and lost her deck cargo and fittings.
