Te Ante, at Takapau; Waipukurau a bye. June 10. —Waipukurau v. Takapau, at Takapau ; Te Aute a bye. Juniors. May 27. —Waipukurau v. Te Aute, at Waipukurau ; Waipawa v. Onga Onga, at Waipawa. June 3. —Waipukurau v. Onga Onga, at Onga Onga ; AX aipawa v. Te Aute, at Waipawa. June 10.—Waipukurau v-. Waipawa, at Waipukurau : Onga Onga v. Te Ante, at Onga Onga. HAWKE S BAY RUGBY UNION. In tiie Caledonial Hotel last evening, a meeting of the management committee of the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union was held. Present : Messrs. XV. J. McGrath and F. Tankard. The following fixtures were decided upon :— Saturday, May 26. - Recreation Ground : Te Aute v. Selected Team, 2 p.m. ; Old Box s v. Rovers (seniors), 3.15 p.m. Nelson Park: Pirates v. Old Boys (practice). 2 p.m. ; High School A v. High School Old Boys, 3.15 p.m. Referees Appointed.—Te Aute v. Selected Team. Mr. Dunstal; Old Bovs v. Rovers, Mr. Dickenson; High School v. High School Old Boys, Mr. Hogg; Pirates v. Old Bovs, Mr. Tyne. The secretary was empowered to arrange an early meeting of the management committee* to draw up the programme of the seven-a-side tournaments to be held on the day set aside for the celebration of the King s Birthday. It was decided that the Fe Ante Club should be written to asking whether they could play a match on Saturday next in place of the match postponed owing to the inclement weather last Saturday. As there was no quorum present only the above matters were considered. HASTINGS RUGBY SUBUNION. The usual weekly meeting of the Hastings Rugby Sub-Union was held last evening. Present: Mr. James Garnett (presidene). Rev. Father Kerley. Messrs Smith. Nesbit, Keith. Mackenzie, Stowe, Hamilton, and Pegler. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Hartshorn and Paul. The Waipawa County Sub-union wrote requesting the Hastings Sub union to send a delegate to a conference at Waipukurau on the 24th inst. On the motion of the Rev rather Kerley, seconded by Mr. Hamilton the secretary was instructed to .forward an immediate replv stating that it was impossible tor the sub-union to be represented at the conference . The Wairoa Sub-union applied for a date for an early match, and on the motion of Mr Stowe, seconed by Mr. Nesbit, the secretaiv was instructed to make inquiry as to guarantee. The Rovers and Celtic Clubs submitted names of fresh players, and these were approved. The following fixtures for next Saturday were arranged Pirates v. Athletic. No. 1 ground. 3 p.m., referee. Mr. Stubbs : XX aimarama v. Celtic A. No. 3 ground, 3 p.m.. Air. De Launay : Rovers v. Celtic B, No. 2 ground 3 p.m., Mr._ Katene ; Kautuki v. Athletic. No. 1 ground. 1.45 p.m., Mr. Stevens. The admission to the matches was fixed at 6d.
