Intellectual stagnation has always been the menace of teachers as a class. The “living present” is the day of the newspaper, and wdiile the past must not be slighted, much less discarded, the present is always on the floor, loudly calling for recognition, which cannot be refused by any teacher worthy of the name —Exchange.
