( YOUNG GIRL STRANGLED. : Perth, May 15. : A mysterious tragedy has oc- ! curred at Woodlupine. The body I of an eighteen year old girl named j Compton was found in the bush inear where she was employed as a ! domestic. : She had evidently been strangled and carried into the bush. j There are signs of a severe struggle near where Compton’s body was discovered. A swagman i with whom she was seen talking ia suspected, and has disappeared.
