Association. NAPIER RANGERS (4) v. HAVELOCK CELTIC (J). In the above match, at Nelson Park, on Saturday, the Rangers won the toss, and playing with the. sun at their backs, were first in evidence, some tricky play by the right wing putting Havelock’s go»I in danger. Davis broke away for Havelock, and obtained a corner, which, however, was badly placed Again the Rangers were in evidence, and after spanking runs by Hunter and Perry, the latter tested Newman with a clever shot, which was blocked just inside the uprights. The Rangers kept the upper hand, and Haig scored a lovely goal. Tingle was forcing Havelock’s attack in bustling style, but got little support. The pass-

Hudson scored the .fourth and last goal for Rangers from ( close in. 1 Mr. A\ . Mawson acted as referee.
