TOWN ON FIRE.
100,000 PEOPLE HOMELESS. [press association. —copyright]. (Received 13, 10.30 a.m.) Pekin, May 12. Three thousand houses have been destroyed by fire at Kirin, including the Consulates’ premises. A hundred thousand people are homeless. The fire was due to incendiarism by the revolting Chuchuses. There have been other fires through incendiarism in various parts in the vicinity of the fast Chinese railway line and immense damage has been done.
