A first offending drunk was fined £l, the amount of his bail, by Mr. T. W. J. Gascoyne, J.P., at the Hastings Police Court this morning.
At the sale of Hastings property by Messrs. Lundon, Stewart and Co., at their rooms this afternoon, the only parcel of land disposed of under the hammer was part of lots 1 and 2, estate of AV. Clifford (deceased), to Mrs. George Ebbett. the price being £475.
