THE PRINCIPAL, ABSCONDS.
Paris, April 21. The Jacques—Riviers’s brokerage and banking business has collapsed. It was based on the offer to clients of one per cent, interest daily if entrusted with money for the purpose of Bourse operations.
The deficiency is £20,000. Rivers has absconded and a warrant is issued for his apprehension.
