SEVERE STORM.
MAN DROWNED. (Received 18, 8.15 a.m.) Sydney, April 18. There has been a severe storm in the Wellington district. Twelve inches of rain fell in a few hours. The river is flooded. A man named Hansen when crossing was drowned.
