POST AND TELEGRAPH HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS FOR EASTER.
NAPIER POST OFFICE. On Easter Monday, April 17th, the Post-office will be open to the public in all branches, except Money-order and Savings-bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. All mails usually despatched on Monday will be despatched,up to 8 a.m. The Telegraph branch will observe the following hours :— Easter Monday: 9 a.m. to 4 pm. and 7 p.m. to midnight. H. G. GREATBATCH, Acting-Chief Postmaster. HASTINGS BRANCH. EASTER MONDAY, APRIL 17th .Post Office will "be open to the public in all branches (Money Order and Savings Bank excepted) between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. All mails usually closed on that day will be despatched up to 8 a.m., and all pillar-boxes cleared accordingly. There will be no letter-carrier delivery, but two full deliveries will be made the previous Saturday, and in addition a counter delivery of all correspondence (Saturday evening) between 7 and 8.
Telegraph Office.—This branch will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.
The Exchange will remain open continuously as usual.
