AVEEKLY PRODUCE REPORT. Wellington, April 6. The New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Distributing Co., Ltd., report as follows Potatoes have advanced considerably , and for prime lines of Southern grown we have obtained at recent sales as high as £6. It is, however, hardly likely that they will rise much higher. Onions have also risen somewhat. Vegetables are unchanged. Cooking apples are higher and in better demand. Keen, enquiries for good well-coloured desserts. Quinces aie now advancing. Eggs are unchanged, although a rise should take place next week in anticipation of Easter demand. AA r e sold a small snipment of walnuts this week at 7d per lb, and strongly recommend further consignments. Potatoes —Prime, £5 to £5/10/per ton. Onions—Globes, £4/10/- to £5 per ton.
