The Sydney Hospital has secured twenty-three parcels of radium valued at £4200, the largest order the hospital has ex er placed. An all-Empire week as a sequel to the all-British shopping week is projected in London. The Hon. R. McKenzie, Minister for Public Works, was expected to arrive at Woodville this afternoon. On Monday morning he will proceed to Dannevirke, via Maharahara, Kiritaki and Te Rehunga. In the afternoon the Minister will Lave for Weber, breaking the journey at the Mangatoro boardinghouse. At Weber Mr. Ross, M.P., is to be banquetted, and it is the Minister’s intention to be present. On Tuesday morning Mr. McKenzie wil go on to Pongaroa, and hopes to reach Masterton on Wednesday.
