IRRIGATION.
THE BARRENJACK SCHEME. Sydney, April 7. Mr. Mead, the irrigation expert, examined the Barrenjack water scheme. He says it will accommodate 300,000 people for a start. The Americans are the best irrigationists. They best understand the conditions. He considers those now migrating to Mexico would be glad to come if inducements offered.
