At a special meeting of the Hastings Borough Council yesterday afternoon, the Wanganui Spiral Company’s tender for 12in and Sin steel pipes and fittings was accepted, subject to the engineer’s approval of samples. Messrs, Strivirt ar-ij Lloyd’s tender for (Sin and tin pipes was also accented.
