ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
BURNED BY DYNAMITE. Blenheim. April I. At Flaxbourne yesterday, Thomas Cook, labourer, threw down a match, which fell among some dynamite. Cook was taken to the hospital suffering from severe burns on his arm and face. CHILD DROWNED. Westport, April 1. A boy named Drury, aged three years, was drowned in a bath containing a foot of water at the rear of his parents’ residence at Coalbrookdale.
