NAPIER CLUB.
The Napier Bowling Club has decided to send two teams to Gisborne, leaving here on Thursday, April 13th, to compete for the Burton Shield Competition. The Hastings and Greenmeadows clubs also be represented by two teruns.

Two rinks of Waipukurau boxl-i ers arrived at Dannevirke by Wert-1 nesday’s express and tried conclu-[ Fiona with representatives of the| local club in the afternoon. The ! green was in splendid order and. played as well as at any time dur-; ing the season. The visitors v -re t quite unable to pick up thej strength of the green. It is proposed to play a return match with Woodville oif Wednesday next. The Gisborne Club has written asking that Dannevirke send two I rinks up at Easter to play for the ( Burton Cup. |
