AUSTRALASIAN ATHLETES. Wellington, Mar. 29. At a meeting of the Festival of Empire Sports Committee a letter was read from the Australian Committee suggesting that in the event of t Australasia winning the Empire Cup, Victoria, New. South Wales, and New Zealand should compete for it, biennially, in the same eVents as those at the Festival of Empire Sports. The letter also stated that all questions would be finally decided by an Australian committee, and that it had been decided that the members of the teams should wear the -word Australasia on their jerseys, with a badge symbolical of the State or Dominion they represented. The meeting decided to agree to the proposals regarding the cup, provided that the competitions are held alternately in New Zealand, New South Wales, and Victoria.
