« Dr. Truby King arrived at Hast ings to-day by the 1.20 train, and was met at the station by Mrs. T. W. Lewis, secretary of the Hastings Branch of the Society of: Health of Women and Children. Dr. Truby King pro-: ceeds to Napier, and will repeat: his lecture there in the evening. It is unnecessary for us to en-1 large here upon the merits of the subject Dr. King has interested himself in. or to attempt to extol the excellence of the work he has achieved. Both these matters are so well known that it is only left to us to urge all who can to avail themselves of the opportunity afforded to-night of hearing and seeing the man who has done so much for the women and children of New Zealand.
