SWIMMING.
N.Z.S.A. CERTIFICATES. At the Napier Municipal Baths this morning a large number of pupils from the Napier Main School swum for the long-distance certificates issued by the New Zealand Swimming Association. The performance of two lads, A. Stevenson and If. Thompson, aged respectively 13 years and 14 years, was extremely creditable, and as a feat of endurance could not be equalled by many even twice their age. A girl named Kathleen Cox, aged 12 years, put up a good performance by swimming 800 yards. The following are the results:— I mile.— R. Miller (12). "ii yards.—W. Towers (13). I). Deni (12). F.
