The Napier Hospital and Charitable Aid Board met to-day. The question of the Cottage Hospital was discussed, and the board decided to defer consideration of the proposal for six months. Mr. Wilfred Kennedy, son of Air. W. F. Kennedy, of the Hastings ! Post Office, has been transferred I from the Lands Department, Tar-1 anaki. to Napier, and will take up] his new duties during the present] week. | After the luncheon adjournment at the Napier Magistrate’s Court to-day, the case brought by Emma Pullen, against G. S. Young, of Te Awa station, for the maintenance of an unborn illegitimate child was heard in chambers. After hearing evidence from plaint iff and her sister, his Worship ordered the payment of 32/6 court and 42/fo. solicitor’s fee.
