[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHILD SUCCUMBS TO BURNS Dannevirke, Mar. 13. A little girl named Peters, daughter of an employee at Glengarry Station, died in the hospital from burn received through -her clothes catching fire on Saturday morning. The case was hopeless from ths first. An inquest was held this morning, and a verdict returned in accordance with the medical testimony. COACH DRIVER INJURED. Hawera, Mar. 13. Joseph Mossop, coach-driver, was thrown from a four-horse team waggon on Dawson Falls mountain track on Friday evening, receiving serious injuries to his head and face. He was rendered unconscious and remained in the open all night. He was taken to the hospital suffering from concussion of the brain.

DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. Hawera, Mar. 13. Alexander Wan, aged 62, - a retired settler, died suddenly in his sleep early this morning from heart failure.
