ENTERTAINMENTS.

KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS.

An overcrowded nouse greeted the change of programme at the King’s Theatre last night. The star subject was a remarkable reproduction of “Faust.” This film received a well merited welcome. Another especially pleasing and beautiful subject was the coloured picture entitled “Amongst the Roses.” Dramatic subjects of good quality and general favourites were “Sunshine Sue,” “Women of the West,” and “The Pony Express.” “How She Won Him” made a good comedy drama. Two pictures which created a good deal of interest and applause were “A Bull Fight,” and “Pathe’s Gazette.” The comics: “Power of the Policeman’s Hat,” and “Who’s Who,” held the audience in fits of laughter from start to finish.
