LAND SCANDALS.
RESIGNATION OF OFFICIALS.
New York, March 8. Mr. R. A. Ballinger, Secretary of the Interior, is resigning and intends to prosecute his accusers, who alleged that he was involved in alleged illegal official scandals.
Mr. W. L. Fisher succeeds Mr, Ballinger.

Mr. Fred Dennett, Commissioner of the General Land Office resigns as well as Mr. Ballinger, Secretary for the Interior.
